Because TCU is a selective university, we are able to consider all credentials, both academic and extracurricular, as well as teacher and counselor evaluations, when reviewing an application for admission.
TCU has no minimum requirement for GPA or test score to be considered for admission. For the class that entered TCU in fall 2019, the middle 50 percent scored between 1150 and 1340 on the SAT, or between Undergraduate Admissions Educator Preparation Program. TCU students who plan to earn a teaching certificate must declare Education as their major and formally apply for admission to the Educator Preparation Program in the College of Education.
